WorldSprings: A Perfect Day Trip to Plano’s New ‘Social Soak’ Experience
If you’re looking for a unique way to relax and rejuvenate, look no further than a social soak at WorldSprings in Plano, TX. Recently, my husband Brett and I, along with our son Brady and daughter-in-law Hadley, spent a delightful day soaking up the serenity at this new “social soak” experience.
Here’s a rundown of our day and why you should add WorldSprings to your must-visit list.

WorldSprings Booking and Arrival
Booking our three-hour soak at WorldSprings was a breeze. We secured our spot online, signed the necessary waivers, and eagerly anticipated our visit.
As soon as we arrived, we were handed wristbands that acted as our key to the locker room, where we could safely store our valuables. These wristbands were super convenient, eliminating the need to carry keys or worry about locker combinations.
The Grounds and Facilities
The sprawling grounds of Worldsprings are designed to offer a blend of relaxation and socialization.
Hot Finnish saunas are strategically placed around the perimeter, creating cozy corners to unwind.
We were particularly excited to explore the 46 various mineral water pools scattered throughout the venue.
The highlight for families is undoubtedly the Globe Pool, a spacious and welcoming area where children are allowed to join in the fun.
However, the real showstopper was the Dead Sea pool, which mimics the mineral-rich waters of the actual Dead Sea. Floating effortlessly in this pool was an extraordinary experience, and it quickly became a favorite among visitors.
Pool Variety and Amenities
In addition to the Globe Pool and the Dead Sea pool, there are numerous smaller pools about the size of a jacuzzi.
Read about all the pools, their mineral content and benefits here on the official WorldSprings site.
These intimate pools range in temperature up to 104°, providing a perfect soak regardless of your heat preference. Some were delightfully warm, while others offered a refreshing cool dip.
There were also designated 55° cold plunge pools where you could dip into temps that make even the polar bears blush! Cold water immersion is designed to be used for short periods of time to reduce inflammation and soreness along with many other health benefits.
One of the standout features of WorldSprings is the waitstaff service. Whether you’re in the mood for a full meal or just a refreshing drink from the bar, the staff is ready to serve you right at your poolside spot. This level of service added a touch of luxury to our visit.
The locker rooms are well-equipped, stocked with fresh towels, sunblock, and all the essentials you might need to freshen up. It truly felt like a home away from home.
WorldSprings Spa Services
For those looking to enhance their relaxation, WorldSprings offers a variety of spa services at an additional cost.
You can book a massage, body scrub, or facial to further unwind. While we didn’t partake in the spa services this time, they are definitely on our list for our next visit.
What to Wear to WorldSprings
Comfort is key when visiting WorldSprings. I opted for a full yoga outfit, which allowed me to move freely and comfortably between pools and saunas.
Don’t forget to bring a comfortable swimsuit, sunglasses, and flip-flops. These essentials will ensure you have a hassle-free and enjoyable experience.
Our Experience
The three hours we spent at WorldSprings flew by in a flash. Between the soothing soaks, engaging conversations with Brett and our kids, and the occasional chat with other friendly visitors, it was a day well spent.
We found ourselves completely relaxed and recharged by the end of our visit.
Tips for Your Visit
While we thoroughly enjoyed our summer visit, I believe WorldSprings will be even more inviting in the fall.
As outdoor temperatures drop, the warm soaking pools will offer a perfect escape from the crisp air. Plan your trip accordingly to maximize your comfort and enjoyment.
Final Thoughts
All in all, I highly recommend a visit to WorldSprings in Plano, TX. Whether you’re looking to spend quality time with family, unwind with friends, or simply take a break from your daily routine, this social soak experience has something for everyone.
Book your soak, pack your essentials, and get ready for a day of ultimate relaxation and fun.
So, next time you’re planning a day trip, consider WorldSprings for a unique and refreshing adventure. The website states that locations are coming soon to Southern Utah and Houston, TX!
