Treasure Trove of Vintage Finds

The first thing that caught my eye was the array of vintage finds. From antique jewelry to retro home décor, each booth offered its own slice of the past.

I stumbled upon a collection of vintage Tupperware that were just begging to go home with me.

As I meandered through the market, I was drawn to the handmade treasures. There was a booth filled with handcrafted garden art that showcased the skills of local artisans.

Chic Boutique Flea Market Pop-Ups

Clothing boutiques had also popped up in the space, offering everything from boho-chic dresses to artisan-crafted bags. The variety was fantastic, providing styles that catered to every taste and preference.

I was particularly enchanted by a pop-up boutique called Boho & Jangles that specialized in personalized trucker hats. The colors and the patches were absolutely fun—each one told a story of its own.

Culinary Corner

One of the highlights of the Pinkalicious Horse Flea Market was the presence of Mad Dash Mixes. Known for their premade mixes, they had set up a booth bursting with aromatic spices and delightful mixes that promised to simplify cooking without sacrificing flavor.

I picked up a few soup and dessert mixes, intrigued by the idea of whipping up something delicious with minimal effort. The friendly folks at the booth even shared some tips on how to best use the mixes, which I appreciated immensely.

By the end of my visit, my bags were heavier and my wallet a bit lighter, but my heart was full. The Pinkalicious Horse Flea Market was more than just a shopping trip; it was an experience that celebrated charm and creativity in Mt. Vernon.

It was a reminder of the joy of exploring new places and the magic of discovering something new at every turn. It was also fun to meet the organizers of this event, Ashley Skidmore (not pictured), Kevin Cannon and Noberto Rios.

More Than Just Shopping

At then end of our day of shopping, we decided to stop for dinner at the local steakhouse on the downton square called The Chophouse. It did not disappoint. The homemade rolls were piping hot and served with herb butter and cinnamon sugar butter. Hmmmm.
