Day Trip Amazon Must Haves

With these hand-picked and personally used essentials from Amazon, you’ll be fully prepared for your next day trip adventure.

Travel Comfort Essentials

Portable Car Phone Charger: This is a big one. It seems towards the end of the day, I’m always low on phone battery. Keep your devices powered up with a reliable portable charger.

This convenient holder doubles as a charger, it’s really genius! It’s a lifesaver when you’re on the go and need to keep your phone charged.

Travel Pillow: This one is just something I personally like to have. Keep comfortable during your drive with a travel pillow.

It can provide neck support and helps you catch some rest while on the road.

Stanley Tumbler: I like to stay hydrated with a reusable water bottle and my Stanley does the trick! I can’t tell you how many times my husband doesn’t bring water and ends up sharing mine. LOL!

It’s eco-friendly and keeps your drinks at the perfect temperature for hours.

I like to put it in my Swigzy car cup holder to keep it secure from toppling over. Ask me how I know…

Packing Must-Haves

Hand Sanitizer: If you’re anything like me, you will be shopping and picking up things constantly, meeting new people, and well, getting germs on your hands. We always keep hand sanitizer in the car. (it’s especially handy for after pumping gas)

Compact Monogrammmed Umbrella: A compact umbrella is essential for rain or shine. I’ve been known to pull it out just to keep the sun off and of course, it’s super handy during unexpected rain showers. Of course, I hade to get the monogrammed one!

Travel-Sized Medicines: This is my new favorite find! I keep a few of our most used medicines available at all times. (mine is filled with Tums, Excedrin Migraine, Benedryl, Nexium, Aleve, Tylenol)

Save space with travel-sized medicines. These are perfect for short trips and any emergencies you may have while on the road.

Safety and Convenience

First Aid Kit: Separate from my travel-sized medicines, a small first aid kit is more for handling minor injuries and emergencies. It’s better to be prepared than caught off guard.

Multi-Tool: A compact multi-tool can come in handy for a variety of situations, from fixing a loose screw to opening a bottle. I’m always using this to tighten my glasses. (if you know, you know)

Shopping Cart: Never leave home without a great way to bring all of your treasures back to the car. This truly awesome shopping cart is so convenient for using at flea markets and outlet stores, while holding everything from your snacks to your favorite finds.

Personal Comfort

Electric Blanket: A lightweight travel blanket can keep you warm or provide comfort during longer drives. I use mine all of the time… even when it’s warm outside.

You can even sit on it if your car does not have seat heaters!

Snacks: Duh! This is the most fun part of any day trip. We like to stop at our favorite gas station Buc-ee’s to pick up our usual snacks before we take off. These keep your energy up and satisfy cravings during your trip.

Sunscreen and Bug Spray: Protect your skin with sunscreen and keep bugs at bay with a good bug spray. These are must-haves for any outdoor adventures.

Sunglasses: These are my personal favorites! I like to rotate them depending on my mood.

Walking Sticks or Hiking Stick Trekking Poles: My husband bought these for us and I balked about them thinking I’m too young to need a “walking stick”, but boy have they been handy.

I quickly found out how amazing these trekking poles are for hiking. We often stop off at state parks take little walking trails and these have proven to be life savers on the hike back to the car.

I actually had water on the knee a few years ago, so these walking sticks even help if we are going to be walking around a huge flea market all day.
