Oh hi there! I’m Melanie!
My husband Brett and I like to sneak out of town as often as possible but don’t always have a lot of time to do so.
We used to travel with our kids, but now that we are empty nesters, travel is a bit more flexible.
In order to fit our adventures in between our workweek, we find places that are typically within a day’s drive from where we live in North Texas.
We sometimes are able to escape during the week, however I’m sharing this blog to help weekenders–one who vacations or visits for a weekend!
